	We have four darkrooms for hire each equipped with DeVere colour enlargers which cover formats from 35mm to 5x4. Room two has a 10x8 enlarger but can handle all other formats. Rooms 3 and 4 have both black & white and colour enlargers. Our colour processing machine runs RA4 Agfa Professional chemistry and takes 4 minutes to process dry to dry. The machine is 30” wide with the largest manageable print size being 20” x 24”. Our black & white processing machine runs Ilford chemistry and takes 2.5 minutes to process resin papers dry to dry. The machine is 16" wide with the largest manageable print size being 20" x 16". We stock a range of Kodak and Fuji colour paper in both matt and gloss finishes. We only stock up to 12”x16” on site. For larger sizes please order two days in advance. Darkroom sessions available Monday to Friday (except 15:20 to 18:20 pm Friday which is closed for weekly maintenance checks)

	The use of two enlargers in darkroom 1 can help with the speeding up of print jobs and is useful for specialist technique printing such as pre-base fogging, etc.

Full Membership
Darkrooms can be booked in 3 hour slots
during the day and 4 hour slots during the
evenings - priced at £33 each,
or up front by ‘Bulk buy’ - pay up front
for 5 sessions and get 1 free.

These sessions can be used as and
when you like. Currently priced at £165.
‘Eye deals’ £23 for 4 hours (4hr evening
sessions, Tues', Wed' and Thurs' only)
are discounted evening sessions bookable
on the same day only. This brings the
hourly price down to £5.75

We can offer students this membership
rate during college and for up to 1 year
after leaving college.

Evening Membership
A cheaper membership tailored for those
who use the darkroom less frequently.
The darkrooms are open from 6:30pm
to 10:30pm, Tuesdays, Wednesday and
Thursdays.
Darkroom sessions cost £33 for 4 hours
or upfront by 'bulk-buy' 6 sessions for
the price of 5.

Printers
This membership is for printers who
want to work closely with our darkroom
as a base to print and host their clients.
Darkrooms can be booked in 3 hour slots
during the day and 4 hour slot during the
evenings priced at £33 each, or up front
by ‘Bulk Buy’ 6 sessions for the price of
5. Currently priced at £165.
Storage space can be offered and special
rates on film processing can be negotiated.
Printers will be given access to the
darkroom 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Occasional Users
If you feel that you will not benefit by taking
any membership option, you may still book
into the darkroom at the OU rate of £45
plus VAT per session.

Trial Sessions
Why not try us out by booking a trial
session at our rental darkrooms?
There is no obligation to pay the joining fee
and we can offer you the first session at a
special price of £23 for 3 hours.

Notes
We are not open on weekends.

Evening sessions and consumables are
payable in advance.

We are not open on weekends though
the darkroom can be organised for opening
for a fee of £50 plus £30 per hour thereafter.

Booking Cancellations
Darkrooms are chargeable unless 24 hours
notice is given. Please let us now asap so
that we can re-rent the room.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque
or by credit or debit card - in person or
over the phone.
