Rapid Eye has a range of scanning services to suit every requirement. We scan from film (up to 5 x 4 see below) and print (up to A3+ see below) and charge according to the file size required. Use our Scanning Table below to decide what type of scan would best suit your needs.

We take great care with each individual scan and do not use any batch scan processes or dust and scratch filters. Each scan is carefully cleaned and colour corrected and then sharpened according to specified usage. Please see our conversion table below for the size of scan you would require.

Film Scanning
Hasselblad X5
This scanner boasts scan speeds of up to 300Mb per minute at 16bit and a maximum resolution of 8000ppi. The X5 is notable for its increased Dmax and diffused light source, which helps reduce clean up time.

Print Scanning
Epson Expression 10000XL
With an optical resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi and advanced auto-focus, the Epson Expression 10000XL colour image scanner delivers sharp, precise scans up to A3+. This scanner is designed to meet the most demanding of graphic arts applications.
