X5 scanner, the very latest in the Hasselblad/Imacon range.
This scanner boasts scan speeds of up to 300Mb per minute
at 16bit and a maximum resolution of 8000ppi. The X5 is
notable for its increased Dmax and diffused light source,
which helps reduce clean up time.
The scanner is attached to a G5 IMac 2GHz computer, which
is fully colour managed. It is situated in its own room and
has an A3 light box for film viewing.
